Jim Cassidy joined Spectra Funding in 2008 as its President and Chief Financial Officer after providing consulting services, assisting with strategic and tactical planning, for the company since 2005.
Jim is a self-starting senior executive with over 25 years mortgage industry and Big 8 public accounting experience including 13 year with SunTrust Mortgage as a SVP and a Production Division Head. Jim is well versed in all facets of the mortgage industry with an emphasis on strategic, tactical and financial planning while building and growing profitable production operations. Jim’s entrepreneurial orientation and experience in new start-up ventures has been a key in the development of Spectra Funding. Jim’s current responsibility is to build a national sales channel with a goal of reaching an origination volume of 3 to 4 billion within three years... Responsibilities include channel structuring, management recruiting and managing the sales and operations staff
Jim has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Tech University as well as being a Certified Public Accountant.
